Veterans Day Home Gifting in Northlake, Texas November 20, 2024

Building Homes for Heroes spent Veterans Day doing what we do best – celebrating our heroes by gifting a mortgage-free home in appreciation to their service and sacrifice. The recipient was Army Sergeant Christopher Irving, a Purple Heart hero whose service included tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Chris was injured in an IED explosion during Operation Enduring Freedom.

With our friends at PulteGroup and Hillwood Properties, Chris, his wife and their three children now have a forever home where they can focus on their futures and Chris’s recovery.

While Building Homes for Heroes honors Veterans Day every day, this year it was extra special to be joined by so many patriotic supporters to welcome home the Irvings.
