On a bright and sunny afternoon in San Antonio, Army Sergeant William Watson was welcomed into his forever home with a festive celebration in front of hundreds of supporters.

The home, gifted in partnership with Pulte’s Built to Honor and our corporate sponsors SAIC, Lowe’s and many others, is a sign of appreciation for William’s service and sacrifice. It’s also one of 11 homes in 11 weeks Building Homes for Heroes is gifting in celebration of Veterans Day.

A Purple Heart recipient who served 10 years and was injured in an IED explosion, Watson spends has spent his time post-deployment as a youth pastor and mentor.

Congratulations to William on this well-deserved gift!
