In partnership with Lowe’s and the City of Mooresville, Building Homes for Heroes is creating its first ever beautiful and patriotic community built exclusively for America’s combat injured veterans. This landmark project reflects the same spirit that has driven us to construct, gift, and modify more than 440 homes nationwide, with a goal of reaching 500 homes by the end of 2026.
Situated on land generously provided by the city of Mooresville and made possible through Lowe’s extraordinary support, this community will stand as a shining example of gratitude, service, and national pride, a place North Carolina and the entire country will be proud to call their own. This community is our way of expressing deep gratitude to veterans and combat injured veterans and providing their families with a place to live safely and securely.
The Groundbreaking will take place on Veterans Day on November 11, a fitting day to honor those who have given so much.
