Empowering Veterans Through Financial Guidance November 5, 2024

Building Homes for Heroes has been a proud partner of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) for several years. The program matches injured veterans with certified financial advisors so their families can receive free financial guidance for up to two years.

This is an instrumental tool for veteran families who are often first time homeowners, and who can now receive the guidance they need to plan ahead for a brighter future. It’s also one of the pillars of our program to help veteran families well beyond the gifting of a mortgage-free home.

In late October, USMC Sergeant Kirstie Ennis and the Building Homes for Heroes team participated in NAPFA”s Fall Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. At the conference, Kirstie spoke of her amazing resolve following her devasting injuries in combat that led her to achieving multiple Master’s degrees, climbing six of the seven tallest summits of the world, and starting her very own foundation.
