Building Homes for Heroes, O2X Partner on Veteran Wellness Workshop in Orlando April 14, 2026
Building Homes for Heroes hosted a successful two day wellness workshop for nearly a dozen veterans in early April in Orlando, in partnership with O2X Human Performance.
The program focused on both physical and mental performance, with sessions covering nutrition, exercise, sleep science, resilience, and recovery techniques including yoga and meditation. Led by O2X specialists, the workshop provided practical tools that veterans can carry into their daily routines as they continue their transition to civilian life.
The workshop is one of hundreds that Building Homes for Heroes has hosted or sponsored alongside O2X across the country, reaching thousands of veterans and first responders. It reflects the organization’s broader mission to provide support that extends well beyond the gifting of a mortgage free home.
Many of the veterans served by Building Homes for Heroes continue to navigate post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries, physical injuries and much more. Programs like this are designed to support long term wellness, helping veterans strengthen both body and mind as they move forward.
By the end of the two days, participants left with a strong sense of community, and a shared goal of making small, consistent improvements each day.
