It was a full day of celebration as we honored our nation’s heroes at our annual honoree dinner at the historic New York Stock Exchange.

Earlier in the day, Building Homes for Heroes was given the honor of ringing the Opening Bell of the New York Stock Exchange – an astounding fourth time our organization has had the honor of ringing the bell.

Later in the evening, hundreds of supporters gathered for an evening of excitement and patriotism in the financial capital of the world to celebrate this year’s honoree, Joe McFarland, the Executive Vice President of Stores for Lowe’s, a Marine Corps veteran, and a Building Homes for Heroes Board of Director.

The evening was once again hosted by Liz Claman, the host of the Claman Countdown on Fox Business and a longtime advocate and supporter.

Since our partnership began in 2019, Lowe’s has donated several million dollars to our organization and has proven to be a steadfast and devout supporter of our veterans. Under Joe’s leadership this summer, every Lowe’s store participated in a Round-Up campaign to allow customers to donate to our organization, and Lowe’s stores across the country welcomed our Building Homes for Heroes home recipients inside their buildings to show their appreciation.

The evening included live musical performances, testimonials from our veteran heroes, and remarks  from our CEO and Founder, Andy Pujol. The organization also made the surprise announcement that we would be paying off the remaining mortgage of a Gold Star Mom. We were also joined by supporters from SAIC, Amazon and AWS, Sphere One, the FDNY, Humana Military, Market Rebellion, Pence Wealth Management, SignatureFD, Hillwood Properties, Highland Homes, Fiserv, Oppenheimer and many more.

Thank you to all those who attended and supported our honoree dinner and helped to make it one of the greatest events in our organization’s history!
