A Sweet Salute to Our Heroes! March 10, 2025

From now until Easter, 20% of all purchases of chocolate Camo Bunnies from Munsons’s Chocolates will be donated to Building Homes for Heroes!

This holiday season, you can celebrate Easter while also giving back to our heroes!

Munson’s Chocolates, Connecticut’s largest retail chocolate manufacturer, is giving back this Easter in honor of our nation's heroes. The third-generation chocolate business is donating 20 percent of its Camo Bunnies before Easter to Building Homes for Heroes. This is the second straight year Munson’s Chocolates will be holding this holiday fundraiser. Last year, the company donated nearly $4,000 directly to our heroes thanks to your purchases!

Each rabbit is truly a work of art. Each mold is delicately “painted” with colored chocolate and then filled with milk chocolate. The finished product is just as delicious as it looks!

Munson’s Chocolates was founded in 1946 by Ben and Josephine Munson. The company now has eight locations in Connecticut. Those interested in purchasing the Camo Bunnies supporting Building Homes for Heroes can find the promotion on the Munson’s Chocolate website.

Thank you to Munson’s Chocolates. These funds will help us reach our goals of reaching 50 homes for our heroes in 2025, and our milestone 500th home by the end of 2026!
